This is awesome. Question, though...
My MPlayerX is from the Mac App Store, and it's locked in CandyBar. Any idea how to get around that?

So is mine. seems everything i get from the app store has a locked icon 
To get around it i just right clicked on my MPlayerX app and clicked 'show package contents' then went to Contents > Resources and replaced the .icns file with my own
Works just fine
