Well, he's one of the most obscure ones, and he appeared only in 2 movies and some of the games, so many people just don't know about him.

Diaboromon isn't obscure, both films were dubbed and a lot of people saw Digimon The Movie. Digimon like Argomon are more obscure having never appeared in western materials. Great work on the image though. I love the pose.

Well, considering how big the franchise is, I'd say that yes, Diaboromon is still obscure. I mean there are at least 5 anime series, and a shitload of movies and games, and there are certain Digimon which are present in every single one, plus, an army of obscure ones which hardly appear in any, Diaboromon being one of them.

I'm guessing by "certain Digimon" you mean Agumon, he became the mascot of the franchise so of course he appears a lot. Hell, most of the Adventure Digimon appear a lot.
Diaboromon appeared in two movies, one of them released in theatres. Hes also appeared in games and has made appearances in Tamers and Xros Wars.
Contrast to Rinkmon, who appeared in a CD drama only released in Japan.
I could list more but I think you get the point. I'm only telling you this because you called him one of the most obscure.

AGumon, Gabumon, Veemon, Renamon, Devimon, Angemon, plus a shitload of others I see in each and every series or game.
Heh, and you seem to be missing a certain point. For me, a casual fan, Diaboromon is one of the most obscure ones since I don't see him often, yet a more hardcore fan like you will probably know some even more obscure ones.
And knowing that there are some who appear even less than him, I don't see how this makes Diaboromon any less obscure, ya know

Yeah the only Digimon games i recall him being in is Digimon World 2 which i actually DO have him in that game XD. He was a pain in the butt to obtain, but it was worth it ^_^. And i remember he's in Digimon World 3 because i had him in the game once, and Digimon Rumble Arena 2 he was an unlockable character.
That's all that i know on what Digimon games he's in.

He's also obtainable in the Digimon Digital Card Battle for the good ol' PSX, as one of the strongest Dark cards. But that's pretty much all games where he appears, it's a shame really, he's one of the cooler Digimon >.<

I must say, the card game is pretty much the best Digimon game for the PSX in my book, Digimon World 2 & 3 weren't half bad, but had some major flaws I just couldn't overlook, yet DDCB was awesome all around ^^
Though Digimon World: Data Squad for the PS2 wasn't bad either, though it lacked some of the more epic Dark-types (like VenomMyotismon or Diaboromon) as playable Digimon.
And there's supposed to be a Digimon game in the making for the PS3, so maybe we'll get Diaboromon back in there.

I absolutely WORSHIP DW2! I even made a club for it even though i can't get people active on it I wasn't that too impressed with DW3, DW4 or Digimon Data Squad.
I thought the original Digimon World was good too, even though it took me YEARS TO BEAT IT because i had a glitched game XD. I now have 3 copies of DW because of glitch issues
Yeah i heard about a upcoming DW5, but i don't know much about it at all since their not releasing much info on it

Well, DW2 was awesome and all, but having almost the same battles over and over got kinda boring at some point... so I'm pretty much sticking with DDCB as far as PSX Digimon go
The DS Digimon games are said to be god as well, and I haven't checked them yet, so I don't know which are obtainable in there
But once I finish my SRW games, Digimon for DS is next on my list.

Me and my younger brother have Digimon Dawn and Dusk for DS,and it's pretty decent. I know DIABOROMON is in the game because i own one ^^.
Those games have a BUNCH of different digimon to choose from ^_-. But once you beat the game it's kinda boring so.......
But If your REALLY into it you can just simply delete the game and start over,but i don't like doing that.
Except my brother, he does that all the time, especially his Pokemon games. The advantage to that is that you will have 2 of the same legendary pokemon in the game(but he normally gives me the doubles because I'm awesome like that)

W grach zazwyczaj robi za jednego z najsilniejszych badguyów, a jeśli nawet da sie go zdobyć, to jest to cholernie trudne... aczkolwiek w karciance Digimon Card Battle był jedną z najlepszych kart z ":ciemności" i zdobywało się go o wiele prościej ^^

Hehehe, that's cuz' dark and creepy things suit my style best
And he was playable in very few Digimon games, he was hard as hell to get in Digimon World 2 & 3 (but extremely strong at the same time), and you could get him in Digimon: Digital Card Battle as one of the strongest "darkness" cards (and even though it was "just a card game", the battle animations were really awesoem ^^), and he was also one of the playable secret characters in Digimon Rumble Arena 2 for the PS2
