Metal Shark Player, Dynamo & Blizzard Wolfang from Megaman X6This was my submission for 's Megaman Tribute Book... a failed submission. But meh, I pretty much knew from the start I had no chances to get in
but as a Megaman maniac, I could not forgive myself if I didn't try and do my best ^^And still, I think this is one of my better works. I somehow managed to draw 3 characters, without the pic getting to messy and unclear, it seems I'm getting better with those tribal thingies ^^
So here they are, Dynamo, Metal Shark Player and Blizzard Wolfang ready to kick some ass, even X and Zero are domed were they meet the now darkness-filled trio

Well you did your best but I never did check out that Tribute book. It's probably on Amazon somewhere. Not sure if you ultimately got in or not. XD
But this is bad ass. Nice selection of Mavericks. ;3

Old art is old, would have made it way better nowdays (I have redrawn Wolfang... aaaand just remembered I was meant to draw Dynamo too), but still pretty happy with this one ^^

Not my favorite Megaman X game, but it had the best maverick concepts and music! Good job!

This Mega Fan is very impressed. I can almost hear a symphonic metal remix of Dynamo's battle theme blaring in my head as I look at this, and as great as the concept sounds, it's nothing compared to how this picture turned out. I especially like Wolfang's design; I didn't think he could look any more angry and evil, but you pulled it off with style. One question: do they have new names in their corrupted forms? For instance, would Metal Shark Player be called "Metal Dark Player" or something cheesy like that?
Definitely a great introduction to your work; I'm going to go see what else you've got in your gallery.

Wow! I love the whole tribal style thing you've got. Personally though, I think the flame markings are a little too much. Just a thought, otherwise very creative work.

And well, I'm using my tribal style for quite a long time, so I grew rather fond of it ^^ though I am aware that it doesn't have to appeal to everyone

Oh, ok I understand. It's always important for an artist to have their own signature style. Now that I look at it, the additional markings make it a little more distinguished from the rest. I guess it was just a matter of personal taste for me.

I even got every single NES part for my trusty old NES >3
Though I'm more fond of the Classic and X series, Legends aren't all that bad, never really played Zero... but ZX and EXE are waaaay too repulsive (they weren't even created by Kenji Inafune...).
And yeah, X6 is one of my more favourite parts ^^

Im more fond of the X and Zero series myself, Played a few of the Retro ones but...I dunno the fact you can duck or bounce off walls or get beter armor seems....I dunno...
but X5 and X6 were m favorite X series and Zero3 was my favorite Zero. ZX was ok at best, it was fun playing asenemy bosses XD

In X you can duck and bounce off walls, in Classic you had Rush, Beat, Tango and Treble to help you in all kinds of shit
And I have quite a lot of favs, out of Classic that would be 3,5, 6 & 10, out of X that would be 1,2,6 & Command Mission ^^
And technically, you do get to play as the bosses since you always get their weapon

And I'd say that the X6 voice acting was my fav ^^ (especially Player's, Heatnix's and Mijinion's voices)

Even misheard jap. quotes from the X games are waaaaaaay better than the English dubbing in Megaman 8 ("When we fine dat metea") X7 or X8... X Command Mission was pretty much the only Megaman game with a good English dub...

Yeah, it took me over 9000... erm, I mean over 30 hours to finish... but I think it was still worth it ^^
It was quite hard to even make the sketch, trying to fit all 3 of them there, and still making it look dynamic, but I'm very pleased with the outcome, so I'm happy you like it to ^^
