What brand of pencils did u use btw?

I used 24 Set Crayola Color Pencil and 48 Set Prisma Color Pencil when I made this tutorial. ^_^

It's really ironic that I've just stumbled across this, because I just bought some colouring pencils to experiment with a few days ago!
And thank God someone else is finally spreading the word about circular shading. No matter how many times I've told people that it's best, they always ignore me. >>
It's also nice to see a colouring tutorial for traditional media. As someone has already said, you only ever get digital tutorials these days.
Anyway. It looks extremely helpful, and so it should be.

THANK THE LORD THERE IS A TUROTRIAL FOR PENCILS! *dies* Well...*Ahem* I've been waiting for the longest time for one of these, atleast, a decent one, and this is GREAT! I thank you VERY much for this.
I only draw with pencils, and all you ever see now are the Opencanvas tutorials, photoshop tutorials and so on and so forth. But thank you very much. I need this, just so I can improve on what I can already, albeit not nicely, do.

do prisma color pencils blend easier than the normal crayola ones? cause i have derwent artists pencils and theyre a bitch to blend... and im thinking... is it the pencils or am i just retardeD? would you happen to know anything? >.>

He he, well I used to use crayola before I switched to Prisma. Prisma are definitely the top rated pencils - they blend much easier, are of fine quality and are very soft. Although the skills has a lot to do with how your drawings come out, the prisma simply stretches your potential!

well derwents are just as expensive, so maybe id be better off with the prisma pencils? and most of my artwork is with pencil ^^ so i dont mind paying a little for the pencils, provided my pictures come out nicely (lol maybe i should get some talent then? XD)

I love this soo much! It makes shading and coloring with pencils so easy! I guess it's harder for me because I don't exactly have the right colors, actually I think my mom gave my colored pencils to my little 3 year old brother... oh well, I'll get some from the art shop! XD!
