Kasar, while an ever careful, flighty pup is considerably less so around his father, Kodiak and that much is true on an outing from Sanctum -- it's not far, really, with Kasar being only a little braver than usual -- but it's farther than he's ever been, finding an up-sloped cliff that overlooked the vale below, childish glee striking him as he imagines himself akin to the birds who fly about, hardly a bit of fear or hesitancy in his little body.

Kodiak, however, allows it with a severe hesitancy of his own, certainly not wanting to hold back his son but, well, could he step back a little at least.
