Description
I thought I'd try something different this time.These are the characters of an original story (for once!) by me called DIE!!
Normally it's in manga style though.
The characters are Gale (the scarf kid), Fell (flippy hair cut), Scala (drawing), and Abel (glasses guy).
...Oh, and a bunch of zombies

I've really adored this one because not only is the chibilike style fun and alluring but the arrangement reminds me of a sidescrolling beat-em-up haha! especially with the high-jump-kick HYAH! I can already see them all clearing the screen of zombies then a big blood splat hits the side in the shape of an arrow saying GO! My favorite part of all this has to be Scala ignoring the battle and setting up a hopskotch... Arena? HAHAHA WHAT DO I CALL A HOPSKOTCH THING! It's so precious though! and my second favorite part's gotta be the zombie that's pointin' outward looks so rad! Shit... This actually inspired me, I have tried to do something different every time I make pixel pieces of Astronautical, like one was meant to look like an old-school rpg like Final Fantasy's battle screens, another one was a 2D fighter that was reminiscent of Super Godzilla on Super Nintendo, and now thanks to you I'm gonna make my next one in the future be a side-scrolling beat em up!

I just noticed Able's scar in this one, and even that manages to be cute! Also, what's the only resonable thing to do when being chased by zombies? Draw hop-scotch!

That's why I designed his costume that way
The story is about not letting the world you live in determine your attitude and outlook, so the characters just dress however they like.

Don't worry, they all get some "air time" in the one-shot.
Scala and Abel only come in at the end though, so...
Also, did you know that Fell's sleeves are super-long for a particular reason?
They're not sure if the undead are soulless husks or not so they're discouraged from killing them.
"Officers" (or "missionaries" or whatever they're called) have to wear those long sleeves in order to prevent them from fighting.
But there are times when it is obligatory to fight, like in protection of others of self-defense.

That does make good sense, the sleeves-issue. But I can't help but swoon over Fell with his sleeves up. Somehow, it givs him a different air, than when they're rolled down.
