Awesome drawing, it has really good composition, colors, and expressions. Plus I figured out that when you want to draw a pony flying you have to do all kinds of weird things to the pose, and wings are just plain hard, but you rocked it. Good job!

Very expressive piece, I enjoy art of Twi and RD hanging out and are always happy to see more of it now that they're - in Dash's own words - "Flying Buddies"
I really love your sense of lighting, makes it really feel fresh and alive, like the start of the day. Rainbow's expression is well realized as I can get a real sense of what she's thinking.
Also, I enjoy how you do manes.

Twilight should stick to being Princess...of whatever she's princess of.

Princess of magic or friendship or stars, hard to tell, but I would personally not include stars as they are under Luna command, but I just can not decide, do she is princess of friendship ( as unity, teamwork, friendship bond between ponies ), or princess of magic ( as spells, knowledge, research, progress ), or you can say she is princess of magic of friendship ( after all she created a new magic, magic of friendship, so maybe she can create a new line of spells, for example, spell what let you communicate on long distance with your friends if your bonds are strong enough, or even spell what would let a pony temporary gain half of skills from a close friend, like Twilight would use it to work on farm or be better melee fighter thanks to her bond with Applejack ).
Long story short, Twilight being a princess should stick up to spending time with her friends, developing, studding and training magic, being national hero and element bearer, this is after all what she do best, and since Celestia and Luna not really help, Twilight being Alicorn is a fair buff considering her line of work ( fighting gods, saving Equestria, extra power always welcome ).
