Description
This is my new character Remeroth Banneroth.Also, I have to thank a million here. I thought I lost this image when I got some of my bloody goo on the face, but with the help of some of her acrylic ink and a little experimentation we figured it out! It isn't exactly the same as before but it's certainly workable, and the mistake isn't noticeable unless you've really seen it before hand. :3

Personal preference! I like seeing the artist's work in its pure state-like you post yours. For mine, I love a solid, white background-which I clean up in ps. But sometimes I'm just happy with it and it's no big deal. Depends on the mood ^^

I understand that! Some of my works are indeed photoshopped. Usually my older ones, and it's been a good tool when all I had was my camera to take pictures. But, now I have a somewhat decent scanner so I'm pretty happy now, and I can edit things a bit in Windows Photo Gallery too just incase. :>

I know... I mean.. it was a pretty epic save. I was morbidly depressed at first, since I battled pain just to pick up the pencil to work on it... then somehow fucked up the face... To see it in such a state (even if it's not as good as it once was) just makes me smile ear to ear. :>
Hahaha... nah... I don't look like a lemur... and even so, this guy is way too badass and nothing like me. If he was my fagsona though, haha... talk about stroking your e-sinep.

Your pencils seem to get better and better each time I see something new. I love the textures you got here. It's so ethereal, especially around the face and hair :>

I'm super glad! And yeah, I think Acrylics might be the next thing I experiment with... thought I always wanted to do watercolor, colored pencils, and acrylics! :3

But.... I do agree... I'm a bit better at anatomy, looking at No Words reminded me of this (since the anatomy is rather bad on that one... and so old)... but honestly... it's still rather difficult, and I still used referances! :>

I just one day fed up i couldn't get anythibg to look as awesome as Mark does and studied my art books thoroughly. It really worked out for me <3

But really, I try not to compare myself to others so much anymore. I mean... I dunno, so long as you are passionate about what you do, then you will improve, so ultimately, you don't need to compare yourself to others in order to do that. :>

This character is awesome, so much detail put into both the info and the drawing. You do clothing folds so well!

Well... about a year ago I woke up one night and jotted down a scene from a dream on paper quickly... Then ~riftryu encouraged me I should create more characters... and I had this guy bouncing in my head for a while... so I found the original sketch and here he is.
I'm usually afraid to make new characters... but I like this guy, and it's fun to have different inspirations to work off of in your artwork.

Well... the best thing to do is create a character with a background... at least a little one... becuase when you are thinking up all the details and what to add on and put into your image, it's as simple asking yourself not what you can add to the picture, but instead, what the picture really needs.

This looks incredible, loving the story so far. The bend of the staff/stick/pole thing holding the lantern is a nice touch, and the fur detail looks great :3

And that fur was pretty tough... I had to do a lot of work on it an I'm very please with it. I almost thought I wasn't going to get it... :3
