Description
This shellstyle is designed to replace any shellstyle, but works best with Windows Vista visual styles. It based upon Spaceqcg's shellstyle and screenshots from Microsofts upcoming OS. I haven't asked Spaceqcg for his permission 'cause I have only used his shellstyle as a framework, so I hope that it is OK, otherwise please send me a mail!UPDATE: Thanks for leosss for fixing the animation bug! I also made another version without the windows-flag 'cause some people asked me for a "clean" background. You find this version also in the ZIP-file.

Kleine Frage noch [aus Neugierde]: Bist du komplett auf Vista umgestiegen oder nutzt du XP noch parallel zu Vista? Ich hab Vista erstmal nur parallel zu XP installiert...

Bis jetzt habe ich mich nur wenig schlau gemacht, was das Skinnen von Vista angeht, aber wenn mir eine gute Idee kommt, dann werde ich auch fΓΌr Vista den ein oder anderen Shellstyle oder auch Visual Style zusammenschrauben. Stay tuned!

I hope so. I created this shellstyle with ResourceHacker. Maybe if I re-create this skin with StyleBuilder, then I can fix it. I'll inform you if I have fixed it. Btw: You shellstyle in v6 looks damn good!

yes you can use this shell style with windowblinds...load skin studio, go to Tools, Windowblinds, add shell style..Apply...you will then have to redo your logon/logoff screens. And you will be done...hope this helped !

Well, sure, with Skinstudio. As I use Windowblinds I am not sure if style builder works the same way.

I'm not using Skinstudio, I just use ResEdit, but I will try this program. Do you accidently know, which code I do have to change so that it works? The code in shellstyles is based upon CSS, so maybe I can change something in the CSS-file...

I don't have WindowBlinds, so I have no idea, sorry. Another Deviant named Butch123 has created a WindowBlinds Vista skin and I agreed to use my Shellstyle, you can find his cool skin here: [link]

just read the "readme.txt" that is within the Zip-file: You just need to copy this DLL into a folder named "Shell" that is in your C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\ π: 0 β©: 1
Go to "C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\VistaCG\Shell\black" Just replace the existing Shellstyle.dll with my modified version.
