The elephant is done entirely with black pen, plain old black ballpoint, and the black background is a mix of India ink and pen.

I love Elephants, have since I was a kid, and I am a very picky person as well, but this is just amazing. The detail is incredible. I applaud you on your amazing work!

Thank you so much! Elephants hold a special place in my heart so I was a little nervous about doing this piece but I'm pretty happy with it. Definitely plan on doing a large elephant painting in the future though
