This is an entry for
Why do I love tigers?
Because I want to be one.
They're beautiful, graceful, strong. Qualities I wish for myself. Who wouldn't want to be one?
Okay, obviously I don't want to be be a tiger. I rather like having opposable thumbs. But still. For poetry's sake.
India ink is currently my favorite medium. That stuff is amazing, I'm such a fan. All of this is india ink except for the eyes, which are coloured pencil. Oh and there is a bit of white acrylic, whiskers and eye highlights.
Sooo going to be using this stuff more.
I'd really appreciate any sort of feedback on this piece. I'm very proud of it.

Ink is the funnest. It flows amazingly so you can make the smoothest of lines without ever having the load the brush back up.

Beautiful! I love the little heart stripe under the eye. The contrast between color and black and white is pretty awesme! You did great =3 I'd put something like this on my walls!

I'm not sure why the heart is there, but it was part of the plan since the brainstorming stage.
I'm actually very tempted to frame this. Either for myself or my boyfriend, since he already claimed dibs on it. xP

Love the selective rainbow color in the eyes, fur detail, and how there's a little heart in the stripes
The only thing I'd say could be improved is the muzzle seems a little small in proportion to the eyes, making the eyes seem further apart than they really are. Still a beautiful piece though. c:

very pretty! although i am not a huge fan of the rainbow colored eyes, the detail is wonderful.

Guess the eyes got a bit saturated, they are only a bluishgreen and golden colour on paper.
