Whoever didn't see this coming when you read the title, GET WITH IT.Damn.
Saw that movie this afternoon and is now following in the long line of Joker lovers. He seriously made the movie. His character is phenomenal, I fell in love with that after I fell in love with his face. I mean, who can't fall in love with that blood smeared grin? xP<3<3<3

The movie itself was pretty good, could use a little work though. My favorite parts are the magic trick and his laugh entering that scene (Hahahaaahaahaaa....Ha hee hoo ha hoo ha hee..), and the entire nurse scene, the half inside the hospital with Twoface (don't forget to wash your hands!) and after when he's walking on the street. I started laughing out loud during the latter.
I absolutely love how this turned out. And I hope all those other Joker fans do too. For this being like less than a two hour speedpaint (more like 1.5 hours) I think it turned out excellent. I'm super pleased with it. Yes, a lot can be fixed and its very rough, but I'm still really fond of it.
Hey, and I didn't even directly ref anything! I used like eight pictures of him to get it right but none directly..

I honestly am not familiar with this character/actor for the movie so I can't really say anything from a fanart sense.
Still you do a really nice job with eyes, they have a lot of depth to them without looking flat or dead (which of course is not always bad) but you bring your facials expression together with the eyes in a way I rarely see.

I strive for accuracy and detail for the eyes. To me, if the eyes look dead and lifeless, then its not possible to have the rest of the image look like it has life.

Joker is funnay, the magic trick with the pen was rofl-mc-copter :3 But I still love teh Batman. I think his raspy-voice is HILARIOUS. Of course he has to conceal his identity as Batman D: The raspberry-voice is necessary! *hat*
Two-face was also an interesting villain. Personally, I think ALL THREE made the movie. You couldn't have one without the other :3

I went to see Dark Knight jsut for Ledger's act. I don't give a damn about Batman and HIS conflicts. The character of the Joker is infinitely more intriguing.
And he doesn't cover his smexy face in a stupid mask. No, he beautifies it with pretty makeup. X3

Ugh Batman sickens me. His voice especially. I'd gigglesnort every time he spoke all raspy and shit. Funny actually. And come on, he doesn't really even have a power! I little more strength than the average man but he can't even fly on his own! And his Batmobile isn't indestructible, much to my dismay. He's lame.

Heath Ledger/Johnny Deep/Jude Law/Someone else portrayed such a cool character.
Did you know that the other three people who played his part after he died wouldn't except money for it. They all told the producer to give it to Heath's child.

Its horrible that he died, and they're partly blaming his role in this film for it. He's one of those actors that gets totally into a role, they are the character even off set. And being Joker all the time would really do something to the brain and twist reality.

I saw this in my inbox and was like "GAHH"
I'm not a big fan of the movie, or the joker. Usually I can tolerate movies far darker and creepier, but there was just something about this one that reduced me to silent tears. I gotta admit though, the joker's character it pretty unique.
Great job on the art. The lighting really jacks the creepiness factor. And that blood red smile is sending shivers up my spine.

I've always been frightened of clowns but there is something different about him. I'm attracted to the face, which is unusual. The masks used in the movie for the bank robbers scared the shit out of me though.

A fact I completely agree with. I've had nightmares with clowns that haunt me till this day.
Clowns seem very...morbid and creepy to me. But maybe the reasoning behind me loving Joker's appearance is because its purposely supposed to be creepy. You know, with the white face, blackened eyes and the lovely bloody smile.
I do have an uncontrollable fear of clowns. My grandmother has this clown cookie jar thing, and the only reason why I haven't smashed it to bits yet is because apparently its worth a lot. *eyeroll*

Oh god I still have memories when I was little, and just innocently walking down the street with my mom, and this clown pops out of nowhere. It tried to do it's whole clown spiel on me, but I think I started crying and it gave me a sticker that says "I Met a Clown Today" which for some reason I still have ...

Very nice. I really like that expression. The eyes are my favourite part, I love the shine to them and the dark shading around them. The mouth looks great as well, I love the smeared makeup. I also love the wiry bits of hair that hang down over his forehead, I can so picture what they would feel like. All the facial creases that go into forming his expression are exceptional too.
