Description
dedicated to the lovely ~Void-Hamlet-Herselffor being such an infinite well of kindness

direct output from ham+mustard 0.3, no photoshop!
although it was pretty severely broken, i recently ressurrected it for some commercial fractal work i've been offered. this isn't one of the fractals which will be used, but it's sort of tangentially related and i thought i'd post it since i've been rather inactive lately (writing exams from next week).

Ham & mustard isn't to my taste, but excessive anti-aliasing makes me yum. Hypnotic work, squire. Favourited this one.

thanks the print resolution image is even more ridiculously detailed btw, the original image stored in my program was over 3gb big (64bit to the rescue!)... i wish it were practical for me to share them somehow :/

Be cool to see if it wasn't so likely to tangle up the many tubes of the internets.

Nice and crisp!
With those colors I imagine it could be something growing on the ceiling of a cave or such. Now that would be cool.
ham+mustard eh, what's in a name?

ham+mustard is tasty, just like ludicrously antialiased pixels (photoshop needn't apply )... given a lack of other names flying around in my head when i did the first release of my flame renderer i just used that. the munchies have no part in this, honest. oh and the name also reflects how i'm not serious at all about it
one day i'll write a proper flame renderer with a better name.

nicely detailed ... is hammustard similar to apophysis ?

well, both render flame fractals using similar algorithms, but i have essentially no user interface (fractals are made by randomisation and mutation), there's no palette, all the iterations are hard-coded...
also dissimilar is that i can render a 4gb print image in about 2 hours i've uploaded it now, just awaiting acceptance.
