Description This is a complete tutorial I *finally* finished that goes with the "Harmonica Twilight" picture. Lots of stuff on making rich colors with colored pencils! ^^

Just as a warning, it's...very long. O_O

EDIT: In fact, it's so long that the file was too big to fit into one file! So therefore, I've completely split the tutorial into two different files. So this is just part two...it's not, I repeat, NOT the complete tutorial!

CONTINUED FROM PART ONE!

Although our styles are different, I love the use of strong colors to achieve & maintain interest and develop tone. Β Beautiful!

now i want to get some colored pencils to try this. it helped a lot, since i am horrible at coloring (in my opinion) but i've still got years of practice ahead of me. the picture came out wonderfully, it's amazing what you can do with colored pencils. i use some of the same techniques with oil pastels, for some things it's easier to use them for little details it's not.

thanx for making this though, it helped

Wow this is going to be really helpful if I ever actually draw a serious picture that I'll want to spend time on coloring ._.;;
And thanks very very much for the hint about the blue-violet and crimson I've been needing that for...a really long time. >_>
The picture is also very pretty and HOLY CRAP HOW DO YOU GET THE PATIENCE FOR THAT BACKGROUND?(is extremely lazy =X )

Both parts of this tutorial were surprisingly detailed (most tutorials I've read were vague and did not help at all), but this one really helped! Thanks for composing this whole tutorial!

Wow.. I'm sure this will help a lot!! Maybe I'll try this with my Derwents... doubt it'd get such a pretty effect, though.

Oh wow, incredibley helpful! I've been avoiding using all the Prismacolor I got because it was so different from what I was used to and nothing came out right. Whenever I get twenty bucks, I'll go out and get some of the various shades I still need and try again.

Great tutorial! I found it to be quite a help. I really need to practice with my own color pencil drawings.

This is fascinating stuff! I've always been crap at colouring, and now maybe I can be good at it. (or at any rate my colouring might match up to my somewhat limited drawing skills)

This was very fascinating--even though I almost never use colored pencils. I've been made fat & lazy by cg, I was doing clay work the other day, messed up, and my brain went "UNDO!!! UNDO!!!" and then I realized there was no undo button. lol. Anyway, this is some amazing fantastic work, and it was very nice of you to take the time to scan all the different steps and explain what you were doing!

This is really awesome! You color pencilling skills rock! I don't have Prismacolor pencils, but hopefully I can get the same results with the brand I have...

Thanks so much!
