A Peter Pan art trade for my friend *Lurockia , who so kindly drew a picture for me as my favorite fairy tale (Little Red Riding Hood), so now I return the favor drawing her as her favorite....Pan himself...or herself.
I wanted to try and keep it looking like an illustrated Childrens book , seeing as how im really trying to work with backgrounds more. I feel like it's been a success.

Aw, thank you very much. My best friend LOVES peter pan, so I had to do something special for her birthday. I love this style, i just wish I had reason to do it more.

How did you draw this? I've seen a lot of people talk about sketching it on computer...like from an electronic notepad or something?

Yes, I use a device called a 'tablet' Its like an electronic notepad...a stylus over top a sensor pad....it's basically the same thing as drawing with a pencil...only the stylus is the pencil and the pad is the paper...and it shows up on the computer.
