Description
I am deeply saddened by the massacre that occurred in Aurora. My prayers goes to the victims and loved ones of this tragedy. I am all but left asking one BIG question. How does an unemployed college student afford complex weapons gear, bomb-making gear, "flammable" booby trap devices, ammunition, multiple magazines, bullet-proof vest, groin protection, ballistic helmet, and a SWAT uniform? Now before I start to receive flames...Let me say that as a film maker myself, I am saddened to see people associating this massacre with the film. I suggest everyone take after Bruce Wayne. He had his parents taken away by senseless gunfire, and he managed to rise above that and dedicated his life to something meaningful.
I dedicate the above to all who have been affected by this tragedy. This was inspired by Bruce's own parents murder outside a theater.

Beautiful, yet I wonder why did a deranged college student even do something like that?

*smile* you know, you are right. but for now we need to let grief heal their hearts. And then people can rise again from the ashes of this tragedy. This is just so wrong.

We must never forget this tragedy, in addition to that it was not the film's fault that this happened. My mom once said that if we let events like these effect us, we personally let the bad guys win, so lets stand up and not be fearful. To all those who died and suffered from this depressing tragedy, i give you my condolences, and i hope that the man who did this will get what he deserves.

"Out of tragedy can come greatness."
I couldn't agree more.
I'm also scared that this is only the beginning of a larger trend. Maybe he wasn't acting alone. Maybe he's part of a larger team, and he's remaining completely silent because he doesn't want to rat out any of his comrades. He probably rigged the bombs in his apartment to divert authorities AND destroy evidence that he was a part of a larger team. Maybe that larger team gave him the body armor.

I've also heard that the idea that he was set up for this by the FBI has been gaining some steam. Apparently some very big UN vote about gun control and limiting citizens access to purchasing and owning guns was set to be voted on right as this happened, and some people think this horrible event was planned so that it would influence the vote. Kind of what happened with Sept 11th, and the passage of the Patriot Act. When people are fearful they are more likely to pass stupid things.

"He was set up for this by the FBI...."
You're not seriously suggesting that the FBI ordered this man to murder people in cold blood, are you?

No no no no. IM not suggesting anything, I merely said that that was a popular belief I've seen circulated around the internet. The idea that he was working in a group was also stated and I figured why not add to the 'theory' pool some of the other ideas.

Moving, sensitive tribute to a truly senseless tragedy.

it amazes me that this image has a double meaning. one's the obvious one. (our hearts go to them. V.V ) but also the idea that Bruce's parents had a tragedy near a theater too.

No, that sound fine, I'd love for more people to see it and hopefully feel something because of it. As long as you keep the original link attached with the file, we wont have any problems.
