So for anyone who has ever seen the Sailormoon R Movie, this is by far the most epic scene ever. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcpkkl… (Even though it's been years since i've seen this....I still know allll the lyrics :3)
So as for this picture.....well, there's this one point in the movie where they're like "my friends are going to die and the earths gonna be destroyed...oh and I'm on an asteroid headed straight towards it" Not to mention it has my favorite line in it. All her friends are cheering her on, 'We're with you! You can do it!'...........Awkward pause.....Tuxedo Mask: "My Love!" >>
So silly. And so I thought....well wouldn't it be funny if she failed and was like mega fucked...and earth was too?

So i looked back and i realized something i never saw before. The earth behind her is crumbling and she failed. I hadn't taken the time to really look at the background so closely before like i normally do. basically its saying she not only failed but her crystal shattered and she is sort of dead girl in the atmosphere of a planet that is destabilized and collapsing in one itself. Interesting. I know this feeling too well and i feel as if this would have been more than possible. I think people forget that sailor moon was not guaranteed to win and in fact even by the fantasy world of sailor moon this was not guaranteed to work at all. This is what would have happened if she had tried it by herself and had no one to lend them her strength or bring her back from deaths door when her crystal shattered for that matter.
I think some people need to be reminded of that, and that in real life people cannot tackle things so much bigger than themselves without help. My family left me alone as did friends so... i know this feeling well. I lost everything dear to me because nobody stood up for what was right and true. The judge didn't care and my court appointee kept telling me the judge wouldn't and didn't care. Nobody with the power to do anything did anything to stop them and all by myself i was merely an annoyance with my efforts to get them to obey the law and to get my lawyer to submit evidence she had. I mean really... it was all a sham and it happens to a lot of people so...
I know this feeling well even if that wasn't your intention in portraying something like this. i still think its a decent painting to say the least. Otherwise, why would it be in my favorites for me to find again looking through said favorites to begin with?

No matter how old I get, no matter how awful people find the dub (I'm a sub/dub lover), this show still gives me chills! I just got done watching this movie now and I feel like a little kid again. xD
Now on topic! This piece is absolutely beautiful! I love how weightless Princess Serenity looks and I love that you have the crystal shattering, down to the tears in her dress. It's an intense photo and definitely one of my favorite scenes from this movie. Thank you for posting this!
