Very nice tutorial! I all ways like looking over other's ways of coloring technique. I can't imagine ever trying to make my own tutorial though, so that makes it even better when I see how some can.
I am however curious about the "transforming" part with the circular brush used for the disk. There are still some things i'm figuring out, despite have used some of these art programs for forever, LOL.

its simply the transform tool *shrugs* you can either transform an image or a selection, though to transform selection you have to to the tool bar where it says select.

A tool I have never messed with apparently, lol. The lasso tool in all it's incarnations and paintbrush and eraser and blur are my favorites, hehe. Will have to check it out next time I try and do something fancy with ornate type brushes that aren't for texture work.

yeah, I learned that trick when I was trying to get better at line art, it does the job quicker. plus I know there are other ways to transform the shapes but havent had a chance to quite use them yet, but you can do pretty wicked stuff with it (ex. fish eye lens)

I see, I see. I use SAI for lines manually, so maybe another reason I have never messed with it before.
I think the only thing I might have used that is close to transforming anything was when I was attempting to make speech bubbles.
