Practice for realistic painting, shading and lighting with tablet in Photoshop. Needless to say... it's not a picture!

Inspired by 's 'ointes' which you can see here [link] (her work is a 'must see'!). I wanted to test myself at photo realistic work and was wondering what to take as a reference, something that could be easy for a begginner as me. So I saw her Ballet work and I came up with the "idea" because I thought that it wouldn't be that hard to draw and paint ballet pointe shoes... I was quite wrong, it took me some 4-5 hours and it's still unfinished.

I might finish it someday, too many things to correct and I hate the background.

Done with a photo reference, therefore and as always I must state clearly: NOT FOR COMMERCIAL OR WEBSITE USE. A photographer has the credits for the original photo.
