Description
This, Ladies & Gents is probably the most authentical drawing of a bar you'll ever meet. Not just because of the large variety of drinks I had during, no, I live directly above a bar and work in another. I go to bed when the sun rise and I usually woke up by smashing glas, people banging in the hall or raucous bawling football fans. I studied the subject extra conscientiously for this. The thing is done with ink, tempera and photoshop for coloring.Related content

Oh wow, I absolutely love your style. Reminds me of what would happen if Superjail were turned into fine art. You pull off the raunchy feel without using over saturated colors. You've also warped the anatomy of all of your characters in a way that actually makes the piece flow. I honestly don't have any suggestions for improving your work.

LOVE THIS. Color scheme is ballin. The multiple perspectives dont seem off putting at all, infact they really add to the piece and of course, the details are fan-freakin-stastic! Great jorb!

hey hey, thanks man! about the multiple perspectives; I messed up on the original drawing, the part were the window starts were drawn on a different piece of paper, I put them together in photoshop, maybe thats why they seem a bit strange. anyways, I'm very happy that it is done, it feels like I had sold a part of my soul for this. good deal because it is the first time I'm really able to say; look, this is the real me, haha.

holy freaking yes ! man, this is your best work yet ! which is great, because that means you make progress
and how ! love all the details ( the lighthouse ! the faces on the curtains, toilet paper, great character designs.. )and colours. and the sketchy shadow style works really good. it looks like a cover for a great underground magazine of the 1970s. keep up the good work man, this rocks !

haha, hallelujah! I had the same feeling about this, great you think so too. my uncle had a large collection of underground comix of the 1970s/80s, I read them when I was a kid and I'm comming closer to get as good as I was back then. which is no joke I had a longer period were I was making music and left drawing out, maybe 10 years, I don't know but it's a damn good feeling this making progress thing!

nothing is sure yet, but if we come it would be around early march. hehe, those worried parents ! it's sweet though, of course, but I know how annoying that can be.
and Berlin is cold indeed. I was there two years ago in February, wearing all star sneakers. I knew it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but I now know I'll never do that again
