Description A Columbia city block from Bioshock Infinite.

Consists of three parts, the big base, smaller platform and city circle.

City circle is all plastic, painted black. The brick ground is actually cardstock with that design printed on, sized and glued. Buildings, crates and pieces were gathered, assembled, painted and glued on. Overall, the whole block is about Z scale and fits in the palm of your hand on it's own.

The real trick is the big base and the smaller platform. Both are magnets (with the big one being bigger of course). When the big base is plugged in, the smaller platform can be positioned above it and, if done right, causes it to float. The city is then balanced on it, so that it is actually floating. When nudged a bit, you can even get the city to rotate.
