there is a lot of spiffy here! She is very lovely in that I can see the Disney, and yet, there's plenty of your yummy style coming through. People with chub are even more satisfying to draw sometimes, methinks. I like it :3

in the new mermaid movie coming out. she wasnt alwase like that, she is a sea wich yes, but when living with triton in the palace, she was a full fledged mermaid, she used her magic to turn into that.

Well I think a lot wouldn't like the idea she wasn't who she really was in the original. They'd think it was a sort of cop-out as Ursula is liked a lot more than Marina. I think she doesn't do magic either, in the movie you see her putting on different wigs instead of using spells.

the outfit shes wearing in the end of the secret vids, the pink one, is based off of one of the early ursula designs for the origonal little mermaid.
shes had manny difrent designs origonaly planned for her in the origonal. remember when Sebastion Marina a "Fassion Disaster!"?
maybe its because shes constantly wearing difrent outfits, that refer to Ursulas other designs that were turned down
thats another reason why i suspect Marina is Ursula.

I think they were just paying tribute to Ursula, her design is probably based off one of the earlier ones for Ursula, but I bet the two are completely different characters. I guess we'll see on Tuesday!

It would have been cool to have a different villain, this Marina Del Ray is kinda...kiddie....but at least they won't butcher Ursula's reputation!^^ Though they could have done a villain that you have a reason to hate.

Haha, really? It's ment to be than! I'm sure not all Cecaelias are bad, maybe Ursula and Morgan just got bitter after their mom died (it seems to fit as Disney royal families tend to loose the Queen first :/). The broadway soundtrack is amazing, I looove If Only

The soundtrack has officially cemented itself as one of my favourites. I think I've been cracking up about Chef Louis half the day...but I get on trips with one song in particular on occasion. XD

oh yeah! They were probably shunned by the merfolk in Atlantica after Ursula tried to overthrow Triton and was banished..AH! I bet this is all written down somewhere in a vault at Disney and somewhere someone's giggleing thinking that people are starting to connect the dots haha
