Thank you! I know, Ursula needs MOOOORE but I think they'll be more soon enough with the release of TLM3 everyone will get in the mood for more little mermaid and watch the original, more merchandise(hopefully!) it's definitely going to be a Little Mermaid year!
Ya know I couldn't remember if it was Triton's father who taught him how to play the sea calliope or his grandfather, I can't find any clips online unfortunately. In the broadway show they all Triton/Ursula's father Poseidon but that's a whole other project..I wish the series was on DVD.

I noticed the other day that the scene where she drags Ariel back down underwater, it's some of the best animation of the entire movie, really clean lines that don't shake around and the movements are really fluid.

I was actually drawing another picture of Ariel when I thought I'd give another try at Ursula's face (every time I try to draw her it comes out soooo wrong) but it came out actually looking like her so I stopped drawing Ariel and finished up Auntie Ursula

Thanks! Ursula used to live in the palace, and was originally going to be Triton's sister, so it seemed to fit pretty well. Sometimes I can't even fathom the greatness of Disney lol I love to loose myself in the world of Atlantica sometimes, so many possibilities!!

One of the many unfinished pieces lying around on Erik's computer is a portrait based on the scene where she gets the potion from the witch. Hopefully I can get that done and get some design sketches of her up. I can't find the right trail design. I really want her to have a medieval/royal look but sleek, sexy and complete elegance/vogue. And somehow have her swim with vertical/horizontal switching fins..
