I remember the mermaids.
They are just like a club of fangirls:
*Admiring the same boy
*Likes to listen to everything their favorite boy says
*Gets jealous when they see their favorite guy with another girl they hate
*And attend to get on the other girl's nerves
They are very likable, and they wre designed by one of my favorite animators, Fred Moore.

my other favorite was the redhead(who was actually blonde in the begining, they all kind of mitch match..) with the line "we were only trying to drown her..."

Another work of art. She looks perfectly proportioned--most mermaids I see have tails that are too short, too fat, too long, or too thin. You made her fish part perfect. Her human part doesn't look bad either. ^_~ And Penelope does seem to suit her beautifully.
They were jealous bitches, but I still loved their part of that movie the most.

Thanks! I totally agree about tails; i'm so picky when it comes to mermaid statues/figurines or any physical object of a mermaid. I liked how their tails were proportional to their body because it gave them a nice balanced feel, not just one half o the other but both fish and woman

i usually pull it out every now and then and watch the 3minutes of mermaids and then rewind, watch, repeat for a few times
hm that would be awsome but unfortunately my computer keeps telling me i'm running out of space -.- although i haven't been in the mood to learn how to color, it's something i NEED to learn.. i guess i'll have to wait until i have space/time and all that jazz. thanks so much though^^

Oooh! I suggest that you go out and get your self a nice set of colored pencils. Prismacolor are the best, but another brand of blendable colored pencils can work as well (and may be a bit cheaper). I find that colored pencils are easy enough and a great start if you want to start working with color.

The prismacolor markers are so much fun! The only thing is that you have to use marker paper. It has a coating that allows the ink to sit on the paper with out drying for a minute so you can blend colors. It is also kind of translucent so you can darken areas by coloring on the back of the paper.
I did a picture of oranges with marker.... I should find that and post it....

Um.... you can draw with pencil on it. It's kind of like smooth tracing paper.
