Of all the Optimus Primes... This guy was my favorite. My favorite toy and my favorite Prime. He harkens back to a time when the toys actually made me feel like a kid again, a time of originality and imagination... A time I feel was the Golden age of Transformers. (Okay, maybe more Silver age)

The toy molds have degradated, so re-releases are unlikely. The show's rights belong to Disney/Saban, and they're not fond of releasing things on DVD all too often. There was never a comic book, except for an eight page story that honestly... Wasn't all that good. (I'm not even sure if there was a manga, and they make mangas of everything!) It didn't last long on Fox Kids when it was new, and it had the unfortunate timing of airing at the same time as the 9/11 attacks, so some episodes didn't even air. (Which to be honest, is understandable.) The only DVD set is from Region 2 in the UK, and with new fans coming in, thanks to the movies, it could be easy to forget this precious little gem of the mythos.

I could go on forever on why I love Robots in Disguise, but I'll just said I've decided to take it upon myself to make sure no one forgets RiD.

For you Transformers fans that watch my stuff... Get used to the RiD. More's coming. For you Shadowgirls fans... Nothing's changed for you guys, except that Side Burn and X-Brawn will probably show up as someone's car now.
