Description
This is a drawing of what I think could be a possible segment from one of the missing KTMA episodes, Invaders from the Deep. We've seen the full pilot episode (curtisy of Joel), and from seeing the episode and a clip from here, we can determine K01 - Invaders from the Deep was mostly a remake of the pilot episode (or at least a portion of it). We've seen two clips, a portion of the opening (from K17 - Time of the Apes) and one clip where Joel finds a sick flower and Gypsy gets infected (which is likely the third host segment, curtisy of Jim Mallon and also shown in the intro). Joel briefly mentions "Beeper" and that has had me curious - could Beeper from the pilot episode still be the same puppet, a possible ad-lib or is "Beeper" the KTMA Servo puppet we've seen later on in the season? I guess we'll never know until we see more clips or if the whole episode is available (which doesn't seem likely).
Anyway, I mostly just drew this as a possible segment after hearing Beeper's name. Since it looks like Joel and Crow are the only ones in the theater (unless it was just inconsistent), I assume Beeper here was the same robot from the pilot because you can't have a beeping robot make fun of a movie. As you can see, here, Joel is checking Gypsy's temperature with the snake thermometer (like in the original pilot). You can also see Crow (who is strangely voiced by Josh in this episode; I'm guessing Trace was doing Beeper here) with tubes down his neck (as seen in photos of this episode, and also most likely used for Crow's foam gag in the last host segment like the original pilot).

Sorry, but Servo didn't appear in any way, shape, or form.

Yeah, this was made 3 and a half years ago when the episode was still lost as possible speculation. I was certainly proved wrong (and surprised) when K01 finally saw the light of day last month.

One of the KTMA lost episodes included a riffing on the 1979 film "City On Fire".
Thanks for making this.

The episode is right here. What ever gave you the idea it was missing?

K16 - City on Fire wasn't one of the missing episodes. You can watch it on YouTube anytime.
