It's a slow and calm film, I almost fell asleep in front of the screen. I felt several anxiogenic sensations such as the discomfort of confinement, silence, emptiness, eternal loneliness in the face of seemingly supernatural phenomena (indeed, David Bowman finds himself alone in a "last trip" as deadly.
It is a lot of things to cry, to dream, to feel an other world,..... anxiogenic because something we don't know but wonderful.

Um you do realize that that's a human baby right? A human baby will always be God's greatest creation He says so many times, even Jesus held children in a very special regard. Everything else in the universe, as beautiful and mindblowing at they are, will never compare to a child.

The sun is able to support 7 billion people(including the babies) and countless millions of other species with a mere fraction of its power, serving as the only thing keeping them from freezing over. Sounds greater than a child to me
