Sorry it's not actually uploaded in dA. I don't have a proper file for that...
Our first year animation assigment was to make a small 15 sec scene with two characters. There had to be atleast one big movement in the scene.
This is far from perfect and there are still many things I should correct, like add few frames here and there, but I don’t feel like putting more effort into it at the moment. :'3
Practice, practice…that’s all I need.
Feel free to share critique (to ANY of my works actually)! I don't learn anything if you just say 'nice' or 'no good'.

omg this is so awesome Hanne!! I don't see much animation from you, but when you do post it, I am in awe. You do so well with smooth and solid motion, and what makes it better is that you did this traditionally instead of tweened or something in flash, and I think that helps it look smoother. I absolutely adore the slight change of the bird's eye from the person to the sandwich, then it's like NOPE and eats him anyways hahah <3 You might think it needs a few more frames, but from an animation retard myself, it looks pretty awesome haha Good work! Glad that school is paying off x3

nice! lol I'm not a expert but it's good. I think the swallowing part was cool because you saw the feathers around the base of the neck ruffle some.

Tässä on kyllä kohtia joista sain satikutia opettajalta, ja piiskaan vielä jälkeenpäin itseäni korjaamaan ne. :'D

höm tuota yrittäisikö suomeksi... lentämisen ja laskeutumisen animoiminen on kyllä tosi vaikeaa ;___; yksi mitä oon animaatioita tehdessäni huomannut on se että liikkeitä ja muotoja kannattaa liioitella koska jos pyrkii ns. todenmukaisiin liikkeisiin, ne saattavat olla liian hienovaraisia ja niitä ei huomaa katsoessa animaatiota, vaikka näyttikin piirtäessä hyvältä *ramble* mä en todellakaan ole mikään animaatio-asiantuntija mutta animaatiota oppiikin parhaiten tekemällä xD

Joo tosiaankin. Katselin jotain videoita mutta en saanut niistä kovin hyvin selvää kun olivat huonolaatuisia. :'D
Voin myöntää että varsinkin tuosta laskeutumisesta puuttuu paljon välikuvia koska tuli tehtävänannon aikaraja vastaan. x'D
Sellaisen palautteen sain opettajalta että toisen jalan pitäisi olla koukussa ja toisen suorempana laskeutumisen aikana,
ettei se näytä liian tönköltä...en kylläkään tähän vielä ole editoinut mokomaa.
Liioittelu tosiaan on yksi avainasia. Välillä ei edes huomaa kuinka vähän sitä tulee liioiteltua asioista mitä tulisi vetää
ihan 'överiksi' vain sen vuoksi että se näyttää paremmalta.

Oh wow, that was fluid! The landing animation could have used more weight to it? Man, the part where the bird grabs the boy, flails him around and eats him looks amazing, especially how limp his body is, damn. So unexpected!
