Breathtaking!  So many wonderful aspects to this.  You are such a master of adding so many elements and producing magic

All smoke and mirrors NICELabs... The bare minimum compared to your wonderous galactic works. In fact she's really tiny but surprisingly magnified by the glass dome.
I must admit it was fun stretching and tapering V4s legs to a stiletto point and then twisting the tapered legs through 720 degrees (all of which I did before deciding she was going to be a Genie  ). I also used graduated transparency (90%>0%) from her feet to her hips, so technically her shins are almost transparent.

(I seem to have fallen prey to a curse, every time  I open Devart I'm called away to do something else... It's like digging a hole in water!)

Smoke and mirrors are neat too, and the techniques you used here are most innovative  I'm not experienced with the graduated transparency...going to have to research that to be sure!

As for the 'curse' I do know what you mean, but if you dig fast enough you can do it  Speaking of impossible tasks, Reminds me though of a friend telling about a navy buddy of his... how they'd play tricks on the green crewmen... like telling them to get a can of radio grease or some such.  Told one to run down to the engine room and bring back a bucket of steam   He and his buddies had a good long laugh at the sailor who ran off to carry out the order... until he came back at a run carrying a bucket lined in towels.  He threw the covering towel off and a big cloud of steam billowed out.

Top class textures here, gorgeous, detailed work. I hope the wish was worded VERY carefully....

I wouldn't be fool enough to make a wish...Whereas you are a Humanist and Skeptic, I'm a Cynic and Pessimist, even more so when there's a woman involved (be she human or genie)

I love it!  The finger cymbals are a nice touch.  And...   that's a lot of gold.   For some reason it reminds me of the movie The Brass Bottle - been a very long time since I've seen that one - not nearly as cute a genie...   but you still need to be very careful.

Finger cymbals, not really a touch more of a ....Ding! > And here's your 18kg of gold! For pig iron I've just checked today's price for 18kg of gold and it's $666K (Spooky eh?)
Don't remember "The Brass Bottle" although having IMBDed it, I see that Burl Ives is in it.....  So I most probably made an effort not to see it (could never stand Mr Ives in films)

Spooky indeed.  Be careful what you wish for.

Yeah - Burl Ives is no Barbara Eden, that's for sure.    I can't say I blame you - but I think I need to see it again (and all the way through - don't think I've ever seen the beginning).   Now that I've seen Gone With the Wind all the way through…   what's left?

Hello Pete,

This is a stunning artwork. I love how you used a twist of the lower body to show her rising up and out. Excellent idea.

Let me see, I wish for....my next wife and lifemate.

  Thanks Grant.
Just been out with Dawg before we go to the land of Zeds (2am here).
Early start and busy day tomorrow... pneumologists, traumatologists, and a variety of other ologists....Keeps them in work I suppose!

"Be very careful..." I've had a lot of wishes come true but there's always a sting in the tail, isn't there?

A very good night to you Grant

Hi Pete,

I have stood in similar shoes in my own life. You have my empathy and sympathy. I wish all of you well.

Sleep well.
