Description Always the case....Just when I found something useful to do with particles/vertices/splines/deformers/cloth etc., in addition to all my ongoing personal problems I've been sent a mass of work (3 months worth) that has to be done in 4 weeks.... So no more playing for me for the timebeing   Ah the joys of being self-employed!  (still, it does pay the bills)

Sorry this is so small (and bare), I need the PC to do my "real wurk"

See ya'll next month

Chillax radaVid! We've entered the twilight zone, so enjoy it!
Look at Italy.... This time next week they might have Beppe Grillo, a professional standup comedian, as leader

I see she has decided to make a clean breast of the problem. I should also think his helmet may be fogged by the exertion.

Good luck with the work!

There's sweet FA inside the diver's suit (My philosophy for streamlined 3D being: If you can't see it, then it ain't there) .....

He's actually back at her place, shaggin' her sister

Makes perfect sense.

I wonder who - if either - is in the most danger?  !!   I love the nice touches like the bubbles and the sand that looks to have been stirred up by a flick of her tail.

Hope the work doesn't grind you down to too much of a nub!

Ah the sand... Bit of a compromise there phraught: a particle generator following a spiralled spline for 90 frames with a decay rate of 30 ( ), as well you know, unlike your good self, I only do two digit numbers, had I gone to a ridiculous almost fable-like "300" the "sand" would have collided with her tail and the glass  ..... But 90 it was!

It's all amazing to me.   I'm still looking for her "twice".

Holy Mackerel this is nice  I know it feels like you can't keep your head above water right now, but stay strong and we'll be here when you're able to breathe again.

Cheers NICELabs... I'm gonna start wurk first thing in the morning, too tired at the mo' (haven't slept in days)

Even at this low resolution it took an awfully longtime to render (8 hours)...Probably due to her reflective scales...And I originally had her tail fin set to 50% transparent but that was taking 5 minutes per pixel!  Still at least I now know how to bend and twist a mermaid tail....In other words, something else to forget!

Indeed, but even work at this scale is a pearl in our artistic oyster.   Get some rest.  I know exactly how you feel, and you need to recharge regardless of what's going on... or more aptly it's essential you do because of it.  Take care and rest well!

oh my! what a wonderful idea!

And how amazingly realized!
I really love all the little details that are making it feel so...real!
That‘s so beautiful!

Thank you kindly

(My 17th "Diorama " and sadly,  due to the pressure of life, the first WITHOUT all the little details    I'd planned on shells and seaweed and fish and.... So much for plans!)

yeah, but maybe the "missing" details are giving the opportunity to get a better impression of those which are there.
Like maybe the particles had lost some of their power, or maybe I hadn‘t noticed the books in the back because I had been to distracted by shells and fishes,...and I had not admired how beautifully You‘ve worked out her floating hair and how great this diving-suite come out....
and so on
