Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange.I printed out the reference picture for this drawing about 6 months ago and finally got around to it two days ago. I'm fairly pleased with it.
Time: approx. 4 hours
Tools: mechanical pencil, eraser, blending stump

Hello I know how you feel My approach to the work I do for myself is quite different or so I have been told.It probably has to do more with style then technique. I have been doing quite a bit of commission work and have had to tone down my approach but the tide is beginning to turn more people are just willing to let me go crazy with the idea and paint. Stick to what you do the only thing you can do wrong in art is not do it.

I've done a few commissions before. "Black Leather" [link] was my first commission and I didn't even know it. A friend gave me the reference picture and asked me to draw it for him. When I gave it to him he gave me $20. I had no idea was getting paid, and apparently the first thing he did when he brought it home was frame it and hang it up. A few weeks later the same guy gave me another reference picture and "Innocence Discovered" [link] became my second commission. The only other one I did was "It's Gonna Be Legendary" [link] and that was from a different friend because word started to get around. Apparently they all loved my work, no matter how picky I was being about it.
