Of course. And when poison sludge that grows toxic crystals and is spawned from pollution has more compassion then a fairy that is supposed to bring happiness and joy to others...well...there is a bit of an imbalance in Pokemon.
...Then again, I could reasonably say a Chandelure is more compassionate then many of the villains in Pokemon who regularly plan genocide and terrorism.
