I absolutely fell in love with this image when I first saw it.
The pure construction of it really makes and impact and brings the whole image together.
It really is a stunning piece of art! I love how the mermaid is positioned and how the shape and colour of the moon! The splashes up her tail and the rock are elegant and not too big and dramatic. Overall I cannot think of very much I would improve, perhaps just a striking eye colour to pierce through and strike viewers even more.
Very good and wonderful image, well done.

this piece is very beautiful the color, the back round, very beautiful. Job well done. I think the hair is a little too thick but thats okay. I love the way her tail caught up and lifted water with it, a lot of people miss that. I love her figure its the best part but what I love the most is her beautiful face. I can't think of one negative thing to say about this piece. I love the colors that were used for the ocean, sky, and especially her fin. This piece definitely shows a different side of Ariel. She seems more mature, sexy, and courageous in this piece. What strikes me the most are the colors of the ocean and her fin. They shine beautifully in the moonlight. Also, I sense that she is trying to lift herself high above the water as she yearns to be part of the surface world. I also sense that she is staring down at the ocean with a determined and almost disgusted expression as if wanting to leave her under sea life just like in the classic fairytale. Overall, this piece is beautiful and mesmerizing. I can practically see the waves moving and her fin sparkle in the night.

This is a very Beautiful piece,i love the concept and the colors of the picture.I especially like how the moonlight reflects off of the scales.

To tell you the truth, I love everything about this piece of art. The way her hair falls down perfectly on her face, the way her tail shines, the strokes of the water. Just perfect. You took your time and in the end it was worth it! Very, very beautiful! I like how you used the differents tones of red for her hair. Compared to the beautifully dark landscape, her hair stands out. I feel it draws artists' attention! Her face has a determined, and fierce look drawing you in. The darkness of the picture adds a sense of mystery. The only thing I could possibly see wrong with this is the lack of stars in the sky! Which really doesn't make much sense! Keep up the good work!

This picture is filled with full beauty and the high lights are amazing. When i first saw this, i was just taken by the amazing detail. Her expression is fantastic, it really fits in with the pose. I'm very excited to see what else you do in the future. When i saw this, i thought this was a real picture taken. It's completely full of detail, texture is breathe taking, and the way you made the water was beautiful. Good luck in the future :3

I usually don't ever look at anything Little Mermaid related, but this one caught my attention. The dark colors add an air of mystery, Ariel's squared off jaw and gaze just lure you in and make you wonder what it is she's looking at or thinking of. The hues of blue make it look cold and calculating instead of the usual warm and bubbly art you usually see. Over all, it's a very alluring, very dark piece that's simply stunning and interesting to look at. You did a good job with the lead lines as well, the lines of the body lead you to look in a full circle around the image instead of letting your eyes wander off the page.
The only qualm i would have with this is the anatomy of her arm, it seems a little thick for her waistline and there's no obvious placement for her wrist and the elbow is a little low. On the other hand I love how you did the water, it really seems to be reflecting the waves! i seriously loved this deviation. the highlights r nice.
i think if the background would have been a little bit more bright than it would have made the mermaid stand out. Though the picture tone is same, which works really nicely. A brighter moon would have added to the light and dark toning. the details on the tail is nice, the water drops has added to its beauty. Well i generally picture a mermaid with extreme long hairs, i think they are quite short.

I like the way she looks in this; she's definitely fed up with something but she doesn't look ready to kick someone's tailfin so much as chew them out hard core in a smartly Ariel fashion, whathaveyou!
