Description
I should be working on other things, but with the whole mess of building and updating the new computer, I've just not really had much incentive to draw. Lots of things going on in RL that are complicating things as well, and random people who suddenly come in and take away all my time for no good reason. So getting this done was kind of a random thing, but something I'd hoped would be quick. Took almost a week to make, though.
Tried going up to 10,000 pixel size, doubt I'll do that again. For what I was able to do in 5,000-ish, it was still way better than my previous 2k/3k ceiling that I pushed to make happen back on my old computer.
Anyway this is just a parody of Roll from Mega Man and Karin from Street Fighter. Was kinda fun, got to try and understand drill-curls a bit. Probably won't draw those again if I can help it. XD
The background is just a light-tracing of a pre-included background from Clip Studio Paint... rather than include the whole actual fully-detailed background I just mostly drew a quick couple curves from the bridge, traced the outline of the buildings, and then deleted the pre-made background and filled in the rest.

First time I got to try drawing drills, and I saw a somewhat decent tutorial on it, and it was around the time I got the idea for a parody, so it worked out I guess.. thanks..

This is pretty impressive! You seem to do well in trying new things from time to time, even if it's only a few times or at least once. What's great is how well you incorporate these new challenges into your compositions to better enhance the quality at the end of the picture's process. The lighting in this especially helps to set the tone, almost the type of the scene you'd see at the end of an anime episode. Very nice, dude! Glad you're still working on staying creative in between the different things your outside life has brought along.

Yeh, I got an idea for a parody stuck in my head, so I finally got it out I guess.. There were some extra highlights I wanted to do, but forgot, although in hindsight I think they would have clashed with the sunset I through in at the last moment. Thanks a lot! Not sure how much time I'll have for art these days, but hope to keep up something if I can...
