Description
Sterling silver, copper, peridot, garnet. Available [link]With fall coming and a farmer's market coming up I was in the mood for another apple tree. I still can't decide if I like more small garnet beads or fewer large ones for the effect.
(And no, I don't actually like red delicious, but it's a better contrast than green apples would be and I don't know if there is a proper stone for cortlands and macouns, which are my favorites...)

holy crap i forgot about fruit trees XP. they look even more stunning with diff. shaped beads. This idea can lead to many others like orange trees or even coconut palm trees, but that would be in a totally different design. But great for the season and I love it.

Hrm. Orange trees would be lovely. And an excuse for carnelian beads! I like the idea of palm, but I can't quite figure how to do it. Something to ponder over the winter

glad to help. carnelian was my first thought for oranges, but there are other gemstones that can be good choices too like citrine, amber, and even golden jade which I found recently and they do have different bead sizes but i'm givin ya the link as an example from one of my fav bead shopping sites. also yes winter is the best time to come up with new ideas until spring arrives.

I've not found citrine dark (rich) enough, and have not seen golden jade, thanks!

Very nice! The geometry on this is awesome, people tend to overdo wire trees a lot...
Oh, by the way, I've started reading the book where your signature quote is from, couldn't finish it though... not my style.

Thanks, you know me, always jealous of the complexities in other people's pieces, but still trying to get the right simplicity.
We do have very different tastes, not a shock.

They're fun. You could do oranges too if you find the right stones or size pearls.

With the severe temperature fluctuations this spring. And dry summer. For apple variety ,will be a bummer....

It was last year too. We had one fantastic opening weekend then it was too warm for them to stay crisp.
