Description Coated copper, garnet, amethyst, labradorite, aquamarine.

Two more of the rush to make trees crowd.

Slightly odd foliage, but then, it's been an odd fall!

What do you think of the garnet and amethyst combination? I hadn't tried it before, but while I was sorting colors I tried to pull more of the rhodelite garnet bits out of the chips to blend with the mid-tone amethyst.

Though it resembles little in nature (though perhaps the personality of November) I'm still fond of the labradorite and aquamarine. These are new aquamarine chips, a little more opaque, but richer in color than the last batch.

Since they missed the show boat as it were both of these guys are for sale, $25+shipping.

They have some precious metal cousins available here [link]

Oh, and my recent blog entry on the causes of fall leaf colors: [link]

And if you'd like to try trees yourself: [link] note me if you do use it, and I'd love suggestions on tutorial writing!

Aaaarrrgh, want but cannot afford! *flails*
Do you think I'd be able to make one from your tutorial with a keyring thingee, some copper wire, and some beads?

Thank you. It's been an odd mix of raw and oddly warm here, hasn't settled yet.

Well it definatly settled here. It's rainy, cold (6 degrees celcius) and leaves are running around the streets.. Bah it came way to quick.

We've had the rain, the colors are really wimpy, but the leaves are still hanging on.

As long as they fall before the snow does this year. Last year the snow got all caught in the leaves and we were out of power for over a week!

Thank you, I was pleased, but not sure if that was color bias

I LOVE the amethyst garnet combo! You wouldn't happen to be making more like it would you? (Because that might be an instant buy from me...)

Jeeze, sorry, I keep doing that. They vary a bit, but generally are just shy of 1 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide.

Love the new colour/stone combo. It's rich and sensuous.

Thank you. I realized that it's a color combination I wear but don't think I've ever put into my jewelry. It's kind of a regal byzantine thing, so I'll have to play with it further.

(Though I have a ridiculous amount of both colors separately.)
