Alright guys, upfront, sorry for the photo. My camera is already packed and I couldn't wait for daylight, so had to make do. Better photo when I get back.Hammered aluminum, copper, and labradorite. The labradorite seemed appropriate, since it's the grey of stormy skies with flashes of beauty, and we had some amazing lightning right before the storm came.
I'm off tomorrow am and just wanted to get this posted. I know Irene wasn't a disaster on par with what we've been having, but it was close to home and still a drain on resources.

I really prefer this to the usual way of making wire trees. The teardrop is wonderful, and I like how much darker it is - so used to seeing mostly the peridot variety, though those are pretty too. Still, this suits my tastes more.

I'm glad the color doesn't throw you. I generally tend to prefer natural(ish) colors. But I can never pass up labradorite with its flashing colors

I like the teardrop frame versus the usual circles. I'm not sure why, but it does suit it perfectly!

This is absolutely gorgeous. The teardrop shape suits it perfectly and the contrasting colors are wonderfully offset by the flashes of blue. Beautifully done.
