01.02.2011, The march of the millions: it was the most wonderful experience in my life, more that 1.5 million human beings marching in the streets of Alexandria alone, all sharing the same dream of freedom...Please support the Egyptian people in anyway in their battle for freedom, you can just send an email to your governments or representatives asking them to not support the Egyptian regime headed by Mubarak, thank you....
Update: Egypt is free, Mubarak is gone.... please support us rebuilding our country

As my country (America) depends on foreign oil (because we're stupid), this revolution and the one in Yemen may possibly drive gas prices up to $7-$10 a gallon, which may, possibly, result in riots here too. Not that I am using this to complain about the riots. I am just afraid about Eygypt becoming something other than our ally if the protesters win and Mubarak resigns.

My friend, lets think in a logic way for a while, which is more stable, to keep us (the people in the middle east) under oppressing regimes that will lead to more revolts in the future that no one can really predict and affect you in the US in many ways also it accumulate hatred for the US policies for its support to these regimes which can lead to more extremism and terrorism, OR if the people get their rights, reforms and developments sweep the arab world, then life will be much more stable... and it will be a great chance for the US to regain the trust and respect of the people if they support us.... as you can see it clearly now, its more stable to make bonds with the people than with the individuals of their oppressing regimes...
But, unfortunately the US still did not get it, and am sorry to say, they are still fooled by Mubarak and his mobs.... there are so many example of civil democratic muslim countries allover the globe... Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia...etc... and as far as I know they all have good ties with the US... so there is really no contradiction between being a country with a muslim majority and being a modern civil society... I hope you got my point.

Ive been following the crisis in egypt pretty closely and I was waiting to see some art or something pop up about it. Im so happy for these people standing up for what they believe in. I only hope that Egypt finds peace soon. Beautiful and moving photo.
