Description
Being a big fan of Tolkien lore, i decided it to be the perfect idea for the theme Good vs Evil. The Last Allaince of Men and Elves fought against the armies of Mordor on the slopes of Mount Doom. At the climax of the battle, Sauron stands triumphant over Isildur, who is beside the body of Elnedil waiting for his impending doom to come.Related content

According to Professor Tolkien's Lore, in the books...Isildur had absolutely nothing to do with "The Fall of Sauron". It was actually The High-Elf-King-GilGalad & The King of Arnor- Gondor Elendil "The Tall" who was Isildur's Father, who both defeated Sauron in Mortal Combat. They both lost their lives, however Sauron Himself was "physically" overthrown
with his "one ring" still very much on his ring finger. The only thing Isildur did was take the ring from Sauron AFTER GilGalad & Elendil lost their lives doing it in Sauron's defeat.
Read the books again. Peter Jackson re-wrote many things for the big screen. I don't take anything from him, he did an excellent job, but Professor Tolkien wrote the books, not
Peter Jackson. Look it up on theonering.net

I know that. But I'm sure that if Tolkien would have enjoyed Jackson's trilogy. And the re-writing thing wouldn't bother him (except Saruman's death and the scene where the Witch-King overpowers Gandalf). I mean, Sauron never directly appeared in the books except when the ring was destroyed and his shadow-avatar (at the size of a mountain) reached his hand to the armies of Gondor and Rohan, right before collapsing and dying.

Detail checks: Isildur cut off the finger containing the Ring. Remember Gollum's comment, 'Yes. He has only four (fingers) on the Black Hand,...' . From Two Towers, in part IV. So Isildur was present at his father's, and Gil-Galad's deaths, both at Sauron's hand. But Isildur's condition at that moment is not given.
As to Sauron's size, it's not fully clear, even from the description that does exist in The Silmarillion. The size of the Maiar generally isn't mentioned, but one can assume that they were at least elven-sized, and that was usually taller than a man.
