I should specify, it's amazing because it holds true to the original Toph design I've ever seen in a cosplay. I've seen a few Toph's, but this is the first that had the real roundness to it that made it realistic. <3

this wig tutorial is gunna hopefully help me with my wig! it gave me and a friend an idea to use this same technique...of course im not going to be toph im going to be Mandy from grim adventures of billy and mandy.. i hope it works as well as it worked with this toph wig thanks for the idea

Very interesting. Cats are rather discriminating, I doubt you would have been allowed to complete it unless it came out perfectly.
But seriously; This'll probably come in handy if I ever need to make a wig with a bun on it.

Holy crap that's awesome!! The Toph wig came out so epic and it looks like it'd be a whole lot lighter to wear than just having a huge stub of wig fibers lol! Fantastic job ^^!

I used a modified version of the odango method for my Deidara wig waaay back when. I always thought it was such a neat trick. ^_^
The wig looks great. Major props.

Yeah, the odango method's great. I opted for the foam though, since you could actually carve it into any shape you want instead of that foam stuff. Thanks a lot!
