Another little surprise pic. This time, for Shadow Spark, a deviantART user whose art I've seen since years ago. Shadow Spark is a good friend, and I do admire his art style. Because of this, I decided to try my hand at his character.I'm still not used to drawing ninja characters, but I've tried my best at a good pose and such. At least I've had experience with drawing dragony characters. :3
Also, I tried making is name in Japanese kanji. Not sure how accurate it is, considering past errors thanks to Jim Breen, but at least you know my intentions. X3
Anyway, I do hope he likes it. ;3

As for the kanji, I love it.^_^ It just makes me wish all the more I took Japanese in highschool instead of Spanish.XP As for the technical crits and such, I think the wings should've been shaded to give depth, but otherwise, awesome pic. Thanks again!

I've gotten about four semesters' worth of Japanese in college, though I'm not sure it was enough to ensure my knowledge of appropriate kanji. Still, I felt the extra touch was necessary.
I wasn't sure what needed some depth lines or shading, since I was going by some of your older works and I didn't always see the same applied. I assumed that was how they were. Sorry about that! ^.^()
