The eldest of the Darkling Lords, as well as the strongest, Cindarr is the leader of the Zibati tribe, who have a long-standing enmity of the Wasai, Witterquick's people. Cindarr has often pointed out the only reason he stays with the Darkling Lords, aside from Darkstorm's castle having a larder large enough to fill even HIS stomach, is that doing so gives him a chance to kill his old enemy's eldest son while he is far from home, thus dooming his spirit to wander the world without rest. In spite of all this, Cindarr possesses a gentle side he rarely shows, refusing to harm children or animals, and will often become enraged when his so-called allies do so.
