I can't let Chicky go into a pyramid full of the undead without getting her caught up in a genuine horror moment at least once. Don't worry, nothing bad's gonna happen to her. This was a quick drawing, but a fun one. I don't know exactly how a studio would handle turning this into animation, so it might just suggest mood more than anything.Related content

WOW! Why didn't I see this before. I'm really impressed with the lighting. Chicky need a little work but I'm not sure if you intended to have highlights in the places you do. It's almost like there are red lines in the dark areas, which is the only problem. Otherwise great color.

This was meant to look kinda rough-edged, but really I was just playing around with the file to see what I could do with it. The colored linework would have been better if it was more consistent, but it's kinda choppy and ugly in parts. For some reason the "screen" setting doesn't always make for very consistent lineart coloration.

Sweet, love the negative spaces created from the black. This could be done in animation, no probs, and it would look great. Make sure to use this in the pitch!

Very EC. I like this piece a lot. The angles and sharp edges in the villianous characters really communicate.

I was totally going for EC with this one. I think it would be cool if these guys were animated like the creepy badguys from the old Johnny Quest cartoon, where they're fully rendered and they just kinda shamble across the screen. It would work well in this kind of darkness, and it would only be for a couple of seconds.

Wow! Your imagination is exploding in this project. I love this. A suggestive-graphic style. I think Chicky looks a little sloppy here, but the overall style is awesome.

She's definitely sloppy, but I actually liked the sloppy look so I left it as is. I feel it heightens the sense of fear she has, but then I don't know if it could be translated into animation very easily, at least by a mainstream studio. It's more the kind of thing an experimental animator would go for, but if I could convince Frederator to try something experimental that would rock. But I'm glad you like it.

there's a lot going for this one. the colour's are fantastic, the outlines are wonderful, and the choices of what to leave out/put in on the monster thingys is perfect!
