Background illustration done for the upcoming visual novel, Otherworlde.Always loved seeing colorful and weird potions. Gets my fantasy drive that extra kick. Hmm...for some reason when I look at the scene I see in my mind's eye "Moonberry juice", a consumable item in WoW. I wonder how that tastes lol. Also mana potions...what would those taste like? I can imagine health potions to be sort of like an alcoholic bittersweet beverage with herbal undertones, kind of like how bitters taste.

Your Otherworlde interiors are both immensely appealing and intriguingly mysterious; I can hardly stop myself from faving them all because I enjoy looking at them in my collection so much. It's a place one would love to explore... Or would one? Well, I'd take a party of good friends with me on this quest, that's for sure.

My very first RPG character was a wizard... a somewhat quirky but quite endearing young man... deeply into sciences, used to carry around books and bottles in his impossible backpack... How he would have loved to have a library and potions lab like that!
The academy he went to must have looked a lot like yours. A venerable old place with a number of dark secrets of its own.
It's quite amazing how your pictures make me want to call out: "Okay, folks, grab your staff/sword/bow/axe/whatever, and let's get going!"
There must be so much to discover.

I do like the places though, they share a lot in common with my tastes too as I get to have a free hand in designing many visual elements which I'm happy about.
