Description
Before I'd figured stuff out on Transformers Animated figures, I was working on this guy. He gets the name from being an attempt to replicate the engineering of the SO-DO Kamen Rider figures - so it's 110mm tall. Because of the SO-DO engineering, it's got the shoulder hinges for armor. I'd made said armor, but they ended up being a bit thin. Also, there is a buckle to go in the place of that hole. My thought was to make a version of the crotch with two different sizes, so that you could put Rider belts on it to do that goofy thing Ganbarizing does to replicate transformations using a blank body.

There's some tweaks I still kinda wanna do to the body, but it's near completion. It will be sold on Cults for a low price. Will come with these 3mm item-holding hands and open hands, then I'll probably add a couple other hand options.

Figuring out a base body does not necessarily mean I'll be making Rider figures, but it's a fun thought. For now, this somewhat polygonal man is enough. Speaking of, the name also comes from SH Figuarts' Body-kun, the grey base body figure. Whether I'll make a Sodo-chan will depend on if I come back to this idea.
