A little gift for my good buddies over at the Superman-Wonder Woman group and all fans of this pairing (I really like this couple - sorry, no Lois
). This is my very belated answer to a challenge they made a while back. They said to make our own renditions of movie posters and incorporate the images with Superman and Wonder Woman. I picked The Lake House movie poster for this picture. I dunno if you like that movie or not, but I think it fits somewhat with the idea of a romantic story about two people who can't be together in the present, waiting for each other with only time standing in between them. Even that alone fits the 2 heroes, no?
Also I give a bit of colour to Superman here, but made his colouring different from Diana because they're located in different times. I chose grey and white tones earlier for him, but raised eyebrows when it made him look a bit creepy and like Bizzaro
So that's why I decided to give him a little bit more colour. What does it look like? Ghostly?

This is really good Mami! but then again your art is always good. love the concept. haven't seen the movie but your description of it does really mask these two. your Wonder Woman is gorgeous and Superman does look ghostly and out of time. Too bad they continue to keep these two out of time in the comics

Oh. Love Diana. She looks so wise, so mature. You can feel Diana standing alone, wanting Kal to be with her. Then a ghostly image of Kal appears behind Diana telling her to wait for him, telling her he will find her. Diana feels his presence, tells him she will wait for him just as his ghostly image disappears.
At least that's what I got from it. LOL! Loved it!

I actually love the real movie and you're right- the concept of the film does mirror SM/WW, but I guess I never noticed. Aside from that revelation for me - really awesome work! You're coloring always astounds me - I wish I could learn to do Diana's hair like that.

I loved the Lake House!!! Keanu and Sandra had such good chemistry in that and my heart was in my mouth at the end when I wasn't sure they would get to be together!!

This is amazing Mami. The different colouring really helps show a gap between them like they are in different times. Ghostly is a good word. Supes is almost like an echo, an after image or something.
