Description
Here's a drawing I did for a comic festival I'm attending in Belgium on November. I took it as an opportunity to do more practice on getting my Barry Allen right. I'm still drawing him too young though and has more of a Wally vibe since he's who I've been drawing all my life. Hope to get it right by the time I start the book. Incredible! Your art is the reason I started picking up Adventure Comics. I fought picking it up for $3.99 even though I love Geoff Johns writing, but in the end, I couldn't resist the brush work you fill the pages with. I'm just going to have to find some way to afford a monthly Flash when it comes out too!

You are clearly the expert, but I feel like giving Barry a more square jaw might make him look older. Just a thought.

Very nice man! What might help get a Barry vide could be, Barry always ran a little more stiff, His back was never arched as much, while Wally always ran like an olympic runner (like the picture above) what might help make him look a little older is buff him up only slightly. I feel like an ass giving advice to a pro like you since you know much much more about drawing then I, but I figured I'd just give my two cents. Cant wait till you start on Flash!

Great drawing. I feel cheeky giving a pro advice but I would fatten the jaw a little if I wanted to make him look more Barry like. They all had the thick hero jaw in the old comic days. That's how I think of Barry (jaw still looks good though).

i use a pentel brush pen for the inks and usually a 3 or 4 brush for the water colors.
