Description

Scratchbord drawing of my son's cat Tetsu. I'm giving it to him for his birthday coming up this month. I'm a little rusty but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Making a portrait of a specific animal is so hard for me!

The board had some imperfections that I fixed with black repair ink which left streaks in the background. I have a matte acrylic spray coming that should remove all evidence of fingerprints and the streaks.

I'm going to frame it in a shadow box frame. The board measures 6" square.
