Oh, gosh, I love those starters! (... except Litten. It looks like some trying-to-be-edgy kid designed it. No offense if you like it, to each their own)So... I did this. I have nothing else to say but I immediately wanted to try to recreate a battle between Popplio and Rowlet (my favourite so far) in the style of Gen 1.

Preferably not. I'm not too keen on giving my work to projects. Especially not those I haven't seen anything of when asked if my work can be used. Besides, these are only two sprites. Not even complete sets, so they wouldn't even be of much use.

That's right. Some users of Poke Amino asked me to make them sprites of their Fakemon for some project. We made a deal, and I agreed. Once I started posting them sprites I've made for them they didn't fulfill their part of the deal. I told them that wasn't okay and they we're like "whatever". Since then I stopped working for them.

I've had that happen on some occasions. I was naive, thinking that it would only happen once or twice. But no, if people really want me to work for them, I'd love to, but not for free. If they want me to invest time in their project, they have to invest in me making time for their project.

I love the idea of doing sun and moon starters in gen 1 gameboy style. I posted something similar to this concept last night and just came across this. Your Rowlet and Popplio look so professional. Amazing work

Thank you! It's all thanks to being obsessed with recreating spritework. I think my Rowlet looks a little too clean to be a good gen1 sprite, but I'm happy you think they look professional. I'm going to take a look at your deviations, if you don't mind. I'm mighty curious now
