(This piece is not for sale, and I don't do commissions or requests, but thank you!)As soon as I found out about people making custom My Little Ponies, I had to try my hand at it at least once.
So I repainted a Snowcatcher into Zecora! I started this before they announced that there'd be an official Zecora toy, haha...
I don't plan on making lots of custom ponies, but this was a fun little project! I'm really pretty proud of how it turned out!

yours is even better than the original!
the original has too many crooked lines and the hair is, you know, like split apart and the TAIL. the tail is just horrible, its just too long and its straight. its not painted well enough and the eyes are crooked D:
Just because its glow in the dark doesnt mean Hasbro has to be lazy with details! >:I

just wondering, how did u take the horn off? if im not mistaken Snowcatcher has a horn, does she not? (i do not know this from memory, i looked it up lol)

She does - Xacto knife! They're made of pretty soft vinyl. The hole from the horn is covered up by the mane.

did you thread the faux fur through the plugs in the head? i can't work out how it could be that fluffy and luxurious XD

I didn't use the hair plugs at all, it's just very thick faux fur - her mane is four tiny triangles of fur (white and gray). I actually cut a rectangle out of her head and intended to fasten the fabric backing of the fur under the edges, but it was pretty hard to make that work... it stays but the mane isn't held as securely as I'd like it to be.
If I were to try it again I would probably remove the mane but leave the head intact, hem the edges of the fur, and attach it directly to the top of the head. I think that would be a stronger and better solution.
